Research checked: 7 October 2026. General editorial information, not personal investment advice.

The appeal of JustMarkets is easy to understand: small-account access, familiar trading software, several pricing models and an international website built around practical account administration. The harder question is which JustMarkets a reader would actually join. An EU account and a high-leverage international account are materially different products, even when the brand, charts and instrument names look similar.

For eligible traders who deliberately want leveraged forex or CFDs, the range is worth examining. Standard Cent gives small-position testing a distinct role, while Pro and Raw Spread offer two different ways to pay for frequent trading. The qualifications are equally important. Very high advertised leverage can make a low deposit misleading, swap-free status is conditional, and broad claims about fast withdrawals do not eliminate payment-provider delays. This review evaluates those tradeoffs without claiming live-account testing or treating trading as a dependable source of income.

Begin with the account's legal home

JustMarkets identifies several companies on its regulation page: Just Global Markets Ltd in Seychelles, JustMarkets Ltd in Cyprus, Just Global Markets (PTY) Ltd in South Africa, Just Global Markets (MU) Limited in Mauritius and Just Global Markets (VG) Limited in the British Virgin Islands. The cited licence references include SD088, 401/21, FSP 51114, GB22200881 and SIBA/L/24/1177 respectively. These details describe a group structure, not five simultaneous layers of protection for every client.

Two independent regulator sources provide useful corroboration. The Seychelles FSA's capital-markets directory lists Just Global Markets Ltd, the JustMarkets trade name and justmarkets.com. The BVI FSC's entity entry identifies Just Global Markets (VG) Limited as currently regulated and categorizes the listed activity as arranging deals in investments. Neither finding should be broadened into permissions the entry does not state.

The distinction between dealing, arranging and other financial services matters because the customer needs to know who actually provides each part of the service. A company can introduce or arrange a transaction while another company is responsible for execution or the resulting obligation. Ask for the full legal name on the agreement, then match it with the relevant regulator entry and permitted activity.

The broker's legal-document library usefully separates Seychelles, Mauritius and BVI agreements. It also records a September 2026 update to those client agreements. That makes relying on an old downloaded PDF particularly unhelpful. Use the current document supplied during onboarding and retain a copy; the brand name alone is not an adequate record of the arrangement.

Regulation should be one part of due diligence rather than a shorthand for a risk-free service. It does not stop a trader losing money on a position. Nor does the existence of a licensed affiliate prove that a customer contracted elsewhere has access to the affiliate's compensation arrangements. The review's favorable observations about account choice are therefore conditional on the reader first establishing an appropriate, available entity.

Europe has a genuinely different offering

The separate JustMarkets EU account page lists MT5 Pro and Raw Spread accounts with a EUR 100 initial minimum and maximum retail leverage of 1:30, subject to instrument limits. It shows a 50% stop-out level and base currencies including USD, EUR, GBP and PLN. Raw Spread commission is expressed as three units of the account's base currency per lot per side. These are EU-page figures, not the international terms described later.

That distinction changes both the economics and the risk-management workflow. A euro account charged in euros is not identical to an international dollar commission converted into euros. A lower leverage ceiling requires more collateral for the same exposure, while an earlier margin closeout threshold changes when positions may be liquidated. Comparing only the advertised spread would miss several of the largest differences.

The EU entity's regulatory disclosure identifies JustMarkets Ltd, CySEC licence 401/21, and membership in the Investor Compensation Fund. This review did not independently establish every individual reader's eligibility for a compensation claim or cross-border service. Such protection is conditional and addresses specified firm-failure circumstances; it is not insurance against unsuccessful market decisions.

The United Kingdom must be considered separately. The international site's current restricted-jurisdiction notice includes the UK among countries whose residents and citizens are not served. Readers should not infer that a Cyprus entity or English-language site provides an available UK retail route. Other European countries also require a country-specific eligibility check rather than an assumption that Europe is one regulatory market.

For an eligible EEA applicant, the practical implication is straightforward: compare the local agreement and local pricing with other accounts available under the same framework. Offshore headline leverage is not a feature missing from the comparison; it belongs to a different legal offering. A decision to use a different jurisdiction should never be made casually to obtain larger positions against less collateral.

Asia, Africa and Latin America need country-level answers

Asian readers: language coverage is only the beginning

The international restricted-country notice specifically includes India and Japan. That is more informative than assuming availability across Asia because the website has regional languages and account currencies. For other Asian countries, the reviewed sources do not provide a universal authorization or eligibility map. Applicants should identify the relevant company and check whether their intended product can lawfully be offered to them.

Once that question is settled, payment convenience and trading-session fit matter. Someone trading after work in Southeast Asia may be active during a different liquidity window from a trader in Western Europe. Cost observations should be gathered during the hours the person expects to use. A competitive daytime quote in another time zone is not a reliable estimate for a different trading routine.

African readers: local currency can be useful without changing the entity

The international account list includes currencies relevant to African customers, including ZAR and NGN. That can make balances easier to understand and may reduce one conversion step, depending on the actual funding route. It does not establish that the customer is contracted with a domestic broker or that a payment provider guarantees the account. Account denomination and legal jurisdiction remain separate decisions.

South African readers should pay particular attention to the disclosed FSCA company and the exact service it provides in their proposed arrangement. Customers elsewhere should not treat a South African or Mauritian group presence as permission throughout Africa. The useful evidence is the country-specific onboarding agreement and applicable permissions, together with a viable withdrawal route in the customer's own name.

Latin American readers: compare the round trip in money

This review does not establish a blanket Latin American licence or one payment method available across the region. A Spanish or Portuguese interface can improve usability, but it cannot settle domestic restrictions, tax reporting or the legal treatment of offshore derivatives. Those questions differ between countries and may change independently of the broker's international terms.

Cost comparisons should include what leaves the local bank, what arrives in the trading account and what would return after conversion and withdrawal. For a modest balance, that round trip can matter more than a small difference in dealing charges. Ask whether profits can return through the original route and what documentation the receiving bank may require. Avoid building a trading plan around an unverified assumption of instant local cash access.

Standard Cent is a distinct tool, not just a cheaper label

The international Standard account page shows both Standard and Standard Cent with a USD 10 minimum and spreads from 0.3 pips without commission. It lists MT4 and MT5 for each. Standard includes forex, indices, commodities and stocks; Standard Cent has a narrower forex-and-commodities menu and uses USC, a cent-denominated balance. Published maximum leverage reaches 1:3000, which is a ceiling rather than a recommendation.

A cent account can make small-position experimentation more practical, but its display requires care. A balance shown in cents is numerically larger than the equivalent amount in dollars. Confusing the unit can lead to mistaken position sizing or an exaggerated impression of gains. Before evaluating a strategy, convert the balance, trade value and potential loss into ordinary money.

The benefit is most meaningful when smaller contract units allow the trader to express a genuinely small risk amount. Merely having a small deposit does not achieve that if the chosen order is still large relative to the balance. The minimum trade size, contract size and stop distance must work together. If they do not, the account is too small for that particular trade even when the platform accepts it.

Standard Cent can also be useful when checking the behavior of an automated program after demo development, provided the strategy is permitted and the reader has already decided that live testing is appropriate. The purpose would be to observe operation at limited scale, not to prove profitability from a short sample. A handful of successful trades is statistically weak evidence and may reflect unusually favorable conditions.

For a reader who wants indices or individual-share exposure, the narrower cent menu may be a decisive limitation. There is little value in choosing an account because its minimum is low if it does not contain the intended instruments. Standard is the more general entry account, while a demo may remain the better choice for learning the interface without any money at risk.

Pro and Raw Spread: choose the cost structure, not the status

The international professional-account comparison lists Pro and Raw Spread from USD 200. Pro advertises spreads from 0.1 pips without commission; Raw Spread starts from zero with USD 3 per lot per side. Both are shown on MT4 and MT5. The page also displays a 40% margin-call level and 20% stop-out level for these accounts. The product name Pro should not be confused with a legal election to professional-client status.

The pricing choice depends on observed all-in cost for the intended trading pattern. A commission-free account can be cheaper when its spread is sufficiently close to the raw spread. A raw account can be cheaper when the reduction in spread more than offsets both commission sides. There is no need to assume that more experienced traders must always prefer the commission-based structure.

Consider an illustrative trade with a USD 10 pip value. A hypothetical 0.8-pip spread without commission would represent about USD 8. A hypothetical 0.2-pip spread plus USD 6 in total commission would also represent about USD 8. These spread assumptions are examples, not observed JustMarkets prices. The comparison illustrates why a zero-based minimum cannot settle the choice on its own.

For smaller trades, calculate the charge at the actual volume and inspect any rounding behavior in the applicable specification. Someone making many small orders may have a different experience from someone placing one larger order with the same total notional exposure. Compare net results after all charges rather than adding up favorable entry screenshots.

Account currencies deserve attention too. A familiar home currency can simplify mental accounting, but instrument profit, commission and financing may still involve conversions. The useful question is where conversion occurs and at what rate. Changing the account denomination does not remove currency exposure inherent in the position, nor does it protect the home-currency value of an offshore balance.

Swap-free does not mean every position is permanently free to hold

The website's broad swap-free messaging needs to be read alongside the September 2026 Seychelles client agreement. It describes Standard and Extended swap-free levels, instrument-dependent treatment and rights to modify the available list or status with notice. It also contains separate Islamic-account provisions and potential remedies for abuse. Those details prevent a blanket conclusion that every customer can hold every instrument indefinitely without overnight costs.

This is a meaningful point for swing traders. A strategy that looks viable only because financing is assumed to be zero has an extra dependency on the account's continuing eligibility and the instrument's current treatment. Model what happens if ordinary holding charges apply. If that change would make the strategy unacceptable, it should be resolved before the trade is placed.

Check the actual symbol specification, the Personal Area status and the governing entity's policy together. A homepage can summarize an offer but cannot replace an instrument-level cost schedule. The international and EU arrangements may also differ, so an example from one should not be transferred to the other. Written confirmation is particularly useful where religious requirements make the precise structure important to the customer.

Holding periods create costs beyond financing. An overnight position can be exposed to news while the customer is unavailable, and a weekend reopening can occur at a different price from the previous close. Avoid treating the absence of a daily charge as evidence that the position is inexpensive in every relevant sense. Cash costs and market exposure require separate evaluation.

Three platform routes, with a practical mobile distinction

JustMarkets offers MT4 and MT5 within its international range and maintains an official MT5 platform page. A trader who already uses the MetaTrader ecosystem may appreciate continuity in charting and order management. The value is less obvious for a newcomer who could become distracted by technical features before understanding contract size and margin.

The proprietary JustMarkets Trading app combines account administration with trading access and support. Its FAQ makes a useful distinction: in-app trading is available for MT5 accounts, while MT4 users are directed to the MT4 mobile app. This matters to someone expecting a single mobile workflow. A familiar login does not mean that every account operates inside the same interface.

Choose software around the tasks it must perform. A discretionary trader may need reliable order modification, clear exposure totals and alerts. An automated trader needs compatibility with the program, a stable running environment and a way to detect failures. A person who mainly monitors positions while away from a desk needs a dependable recovery route if the main device is lost or unavailable.

MT4 and MT5 should not be treated as identical containers for the same automation. Programs, indicators and account settings can differ. Before moving an established setup, test the exact symbol names and trading logic in the chosen environment. Confirm how the account handles opposite-direction positions, partial closes and pending orders rather than assume that a previous broker's behavior will carry over unchanged.

Mobile convenience has a less favorable side: it makes impulsive order entry easy. A useful personal workflow can require checking size, stop distance and total exposure before confirming a trade. The platform's speed is beneficial only if the decision being executed is deliberate. There is no trading advantage in being able to make an unplanned mistake more quickly.

What the instrument range is good for

The international homepage advertises more than 250 instruments and emphasizes forex, gold, oil, indices and shares. Treat the number as a broker description of its catalogue, with availability depending on account and entity. This is principally a leveraged-trading proposition. A share or index name on a CFD platform does not establish direct ownership of the underlying security or an ordinary long-term custody account.

For a focused currency or gold trader, a moderate catalogue can be sufficient. The relevant question is whether the chosen instruments have usable contract sizes, understandable financing and trading hours compatible with the strategy. A wider catalogue would add little value if most of it were never used. Conversely, someone seeking obscure exchanges, transferable securities or a broad retirement portfolio may find the product model unsuitable.

Gold deserves careful cash-risk calculation because small-looking price movements can represent meaningful losses at a large contract size. Do not copy a forex pip calculation into a metal order without checking the specification. The same applies to equity indices, where one displayed point can have a different monetary value across symbols or brokers.

Individual-share CFDs introduce company-specific events as well as market-wide risk. Earnings announcements, corporate actions and trading halts can affect order handling and pricing. The trader should know how dividend adjustments and other events are treated in the contract. A simple directional view on a company does not remove those operational details.

Multiple open symbols can also conceal one concentrated idea. Being long several equity indices and short a defensive currency may increase exposure to the same risk-on theme. Review the portfolio as a set of economic drivers. Counting tickets or asset-class labels is a weak substitute for understanding what could make several positions lose money together.

High leverage and low stop-out levels need deliberate restraint

The international leverage ceiling is unusually large in relation to the account minimums, but the economically important number is the exposure actually taken. A trader with USD 500 and USD 25,000 of exposure is operating at fifty times equity, whether the broker allows a maximum of fifty, five hundred or three thousand times. Available leverage is permission to use collateral more aggressively, not a measure of likely success.

In that hypothetical example, a 1% adverse movement represents roughly USD 250 before costs, half the starting equity. The calculation does not depend on the amount initially reserved as margin. A small required margin can make the order look inexpensive while leaving the price sensitivity unchanged. Calculate the loss from plausible market moves before deciding whether the position is manageable.

A stop-out percentage is generally a relationship between equity and used margin, not a percentage of the initial deposit preserved for the customer. A 20% stop-out level does not mean the maximum loss is 20%. Depending on exposure, costs and execution, a substantial part of the balance can be gone before liquidation begins. Read the account's exact calculation and order-closing sequence.

Stops are still useful, but they do not guarantee a precise cash loss under every market condition. If liquidity disappears or a market reopens through the requested price, execution can occur elsewhere. A plan should allow for that possibility rather than sizing every trade on the assumption of a perfect exit.

Keep emergency savings and money required for ordinary commitments outside speculative margin trading. That is not a statement about one broker's reliability; it follows from the product's loss potential. Low entry requirements can widen access, but they should never turn money needed for rent, education or essential expenses into trading collateral.

Deposits, withdrawals and the meaning of instant

The funding guide states that JustMarkets does not charge deposit or withdrawal commissions, while acknowledging possible bank and electronic-payment-system fees. It prohibits third-party deposits and describes withdrawal verification. The same page distinguishes processing on the broker's side from the involvement of payment providers. These qualifications are important when reading an instant-withdrawal headline.

Internal approval, release to a payment provider and final credit to a bank account are different events. A delay at one stage does not automatically prove misconduct, but it should have an identifiable status and explanation. Save the request time, method, amount and reference number so that support can trace the actual stage rather than respond to a general statement that the money has not arrived.

Plan the exit route before choosing the entry route. Confirm whether the original payment method remains available for withdrawals, how any excess over the original deposit is handled and whether the selected currency can return without another conversion. A method that is convenient for a small deposit may be less useful for a larger withdrawal or after a card expires.

Identity verification should be completed through the official account process. Use a payment account in the same owner's name, retain proof of ownership and resolve address inconsistencies early. A fast initial registration is not a promise that no further documents will ever be requested. Cross-border financial services involve ongoing checks as well as the first form.

For a customer who has already determined that the service is appropriate, a modest initial transfer and withdrawal can establish familiarity with the available route. It does not validate every future transaction or justify increasing exposure. Operational testing and investment decisions should remain separate, and there is no reason to trade merely because a deposit has been made.

Protection, service and the limits of marketing evidence

JustMarkets' client-protection page describes segregated client money and negative-balance protection, including resetting qualifying negative trading balances. These are broker disclosures; this review did not inspect bank accounts or test the process during a market shock. The applicable agreement should be checked for scope and exclusions.

Segregation and negative-balance protection address different problems. Separating client money from operating funds concerns its handling. Resetting a negative balance concerns an amount owed after trading losses. Neither prevents the customer from losing the balance already deposited, and neither should be described as a guaranteed immediate reimbursement if a financial institution fails.

The mobile offering advertises multilingual support around the clock. Availability is useful, especially across the four regions covered here, but the quality of an answer matters more than the speed of a greeting. Ask a specific question about the proposed account and see whether the response names the entity and relevant document. Generic reassurance is not a substitute for a usable answer.

Educational articles, calendars and market commentary can help organize a trader's thinking. They should not be treated as individualized advice or a reliable forecasting service. A calendar identifies events, not their outcome or how prices will react. A market opinion is most useful when the reader can understand the assumptions and decide independently whether the risk is acceptable.

A sensible shortlisting process

First decide whether the desired activity is actually CFD trading. If the goal is accumulating long-term assets without leverage, begin with a different product comparison. If leveraged trading is the deliberate objective, establish country eligibility and the legal counterparty before examining the account names. That order prevents an attractive feature from distracting from a fundamental mismatch.

Next choose two or three instruments and record the relevant contract specifications, expected holding period, cost model and realistic order sizes. Compare Standard, Pro or Raw Spread on those concrete requirements. Standard Cent belongs in the comparison only if its smaller units and narrower menu fit the purpose. The most expensive mistake may be choosing the wrong exposure size rather than paying a slightly wider spread.

Then examine the operational routine: platform access, recovery procedures, account statements, available funding and the withdrawal route. A person maintaining records in one currency while trading in another should check whether the statements are sufficiently clear for their own reporting needs. A convenient app cannot compensate for an account that is difficult to reconcile.

Finally, write down the unresolved questions. Common examples are entity assignment, current swap-free treatment, local payment availability and instrument-specific margin changes. A broker can remain on a shortlist while those questions are open. There is no need to convert incomplete information into either a glowing recommendation or an accusation.

Questions that change the choice

Does a small minimum make this a beginner-friendly service?

It makes access inexpensive, which is different from making the product easy. A beginner still needs to understand bid and ask prices, the effect of leverage, order types and the possibility of losing the whole trading balance. A well-designed learning sequence can remain in demo for as long as necessary. There is no deadline to move into a funded account, and a broker's minimum is not a suggested starting budget.

Is Pro automatically better than Standard?

No. The word describes a commercial account tier, and its value depends on the actual spread difference, available capital and intended turnover. If the customer cannot explain how the pricing change benefits their own orders, the label adds little. Account choice should follow a measured comparison, not an assumption that a more prestigious name reflects greater trading skill.

Can one successful withdrawal settle the reliability question?

It can demonstrate that a particular route worked on a particular occasion. It cannot establish how every future payment, larger amount or document exception will be handled. The useful conclusion is narrow: the customer has learned the process and has a record of the transaction. Continue keeping only the balance needed for the intended activity and maintain current documentation.

What should an existing MT4 user check first?

The immediate issue is workflow compatibility, especially if the proprietary mobile app is part of the attraction. Check where orders will actually be placed, whether existing programs can be used and how positions are managed away from the main computer. Rebuilding a working setup can cost more time than a modest dealing-fee saving is worth, so compatibility belongs near the start of the evaluation.

Verdict: useful account flexibility, with meaningful boundaries

JustMarkets offers a coherent set of choices for eligible traders who understand forex and CFD risk. The cent option, separate spread and commission models, MetaTrader access and integrated account administration provide practical reasons to investigate. The independently located Seychelles and BVI entries also make parts of the group structure verifiable rather than purely promotional.

The strongest caution is against collapsing several different offerings into one review score. EU terms differ substantially from international terms, the UK and certain Asian countries appear on the restricted list, and swap-free treatment requires close reading. High maximum leverage is a risk-management challenge, not a benefit that every customer should try to use.

JustMarkets is most plausible for a self-directed trader who can select the correct entity, measure costs for a defined strategy and keep position size independent of the advertised leverage ceiling. It is much less convincing as an all-purpose investment home or as a shortcut from a tiny deposit to meaningful income. The right account is the one whose contract, costs and workflow match the intended activity, not the one with the most ambitious name.
